Stop the Insanity!

Isaiah 5:20 says, “ Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Does this not sound like our society today? It seems like the insanity thickens on an hourly basis. Political correctness is so over-the-top that it is destroying us. It’s become perfectly acceptable to suppress the truth, or even lie through your teeth, as long as you don’t offend anyone. After all, isn’t it our main goal in life not offend anyone? Tell that to Jesus, Paul, John the Baptist, and the rest of God’s men in the Bible. It’s utter hogwash, plain and simple.

You’re now called “Evil” if you call abortion murder, and want to defend the lives of the unborn. Yet, you’re called “Good” if you support the “right“ for 4,ooo babies to be murdered in cold blood inside their mother‘s belly every day in this nation; as well as use tax payer dollars to fund abortion clinics around the world. You’re called “Evil” if you believe in traditional marriage - which is, of course - between one man and one woman, and you actually say that it’s God’s way and that it is right. But you’re called “Good” if you celebrate “diversity” (aka - immorality), and accept marriage as the union of anything - regardless of gender, or in some cases, species (I’m serious).

We have federal judges declaring the National Day of Prayer and the Ten Commandments unconstitutional, when the laws of this land are based on the Ten Commandments, and Ben Franklin called on the first Continental Congress to pray and seek God for wisdom on writing the U.S. Constitution! Insanity! Heaven forbid we pray or are influenced by the laws of God! Why the horror! Crime might go down! The divorce rate might go down! Society might become steeped in morality! We might actually have the country our founding Father’s died and gave their fortunes for!

We constantly hear trumpeted that Islam is a religion of peace. Yet, almost every act of terrorism in the U.S. and abroad for decades has been by Muslims. This is not speculation. They usually boldly proclaim that they are Muslim. They don’t hide it. However, like fools, many Americans keep saying it’s a religion of peace. Jesus said, “You shall know a tree by it’s fruit”. Do you know why Christians aren’t always running around saying we are a religion of peace? Because we don’t have to. When’s the last time you saw on the news a Pentecostal suicide bomber or a Baptist hijacker? Stop the insanity! For God’s sake, somebody speak the truth!

The church has bent over backwards to be acceptable to the world, and for what? We are not supposed to be friends with the world (Jam 4:4). We are to be salt and light. Jesus is a rock of offense (Rom 9:33). Instead of trying to be like the world, we need to offend them right out of Hell - because that is where they are going without Jesus Christ. We don’t need to make church more palatable for a sinner. Who gives a rip about a sinner’s palate? They just need to get born again by faith in the precious Blood of Christ Jesus The Lord. The church and the home are the last bastions of truth. If there is no truth in them, we are finished.

Stand for the truth of God’s Word. Speak forth Word of God. Don’t be ashamed of Christ Jesus. Read your Bible. Pray to God. Be a Christian. Don’t stand back and let the godless continue to take our country. So what if your family or friends don’t like your stand for Christ. Who cares what they think? Who do you serve? Are they your savior? Are they your Lord? You better make up your mind. If you don’t put Jesus before your family and friends, then you are not worthy of Him - and you cannot be His disciple (Lk 14:26-35). If your faith is not real, and you are playing church, you need to stop before you end up in Hell for eternity. Does that offend you? I hope so.

Brothers and Sisters, we need to stand our ground. We just don’t read about persecution in Voice of The Martyrs anymore - we are actually starting to experience it in this nation. It will get worse before it gets better, so you better be ready to stand. Some may claim I’m an alarmist, but I’m just calling it like I see it. The days are insane, but all is well if your hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. Until next time, rejoice in The Lord!
